Founder and Head Coach
Learn to Surf with former professional big wave surfer Rusty Moran!
Rusty, a former professional big wave surfer with over 40 years of experience, spent his twenties chasing the largest waves in Hawaii, establishing a career as a big wave free surfer.
With an engineering degree, Rusty excels at breaking down complex patterns into manageable steps. This unique skill allows him to develop step-by-step processes for teaching surfing techniques to beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers.
Currently completing a PhD in surf therapy to help veterans heal from PTSD, Rusty is also the founder of the Veteran Surf Project charity. He has personally coached and shared decades of knowledge with our other surf school instructors. As a result, all of our instructors are capable of enhancing your surfing skills.
Our Services

Learn to Surf, Skate, and Meditate over a fun-filled 3-day camp!
Operating 9-12 each morning, $200 total including all equipment and morning tea!
